Violins

All our stringed instruments are set up in store by our own technicians. They are set up to precise specifications to facilitate playing. Any specific requests regarding setting up can be catered for only when instructed at time of ordering.

 

Stentor Mk 1 are the main teaching instruments in Britain’s schools. All are hand carved from solid tonewoods with good quality rosewood pegs and fingerboards. The outits include reliable wood bows and well-designed lightweight cases with integral shoulder rest and music pockets.

 

Stentor Mk 2 is a high quality instrument handmade in Stentor’s own workshops. Pegs, nut, fingerboard and saddle are all solid ebony and the violin is supplied with good quality strings and a metal tailpiece with integral adjusters. The outfit includes a reliable wood bow with ebony frog and a well-designed lightweight case with integral shoulder rest and music pocket.

 

 

Harlequin Violins are a new colourful range of violins available in six sparkling colours: Light purple, Cherry red, Marine blue, Silver grey, Sage green and Black. All come complete with case and coloured fibreglass bow.
