Malcolm Tysoe Ltd is situated in a quiet, idyllic village bordering the beautiful countryside around High Elms. Despite having the feeling of tranquility the village is located just off the A21 within easy reach of London, the M25 and Kent. On arrival at the shop there is ample parking in the village.

We are a traditional music shop catering for all standards of musician from the beginner recorder player to top professional string players. Although we cater for all instruments we specialize in violins, violas and cellos and keep the best range of stringed instruments -both new and antique- to be found in the region.

We offer a first-class sheet music ordering service for any items temporarily out of stock. On arrival, usually within a week, these can either be collected or sent by mail-order as required.

A number of highly trained instrument technicians work on the premises and are available for consultation by prior arrangement. Repairs, restoration and ‘MOTs’ are available for instruments of all standards. Strings, woodwind, brass, guitars and percussion can all be dealt with on site.

All new instruments are checked by our technicians before they are sold to ensure the highest of standards. The stringed instruments in particular are all set up to our own specifications to ensure that the best possible sound is obtained from each one.
